Hey guys, there’s a new Pottermore survey! 

While many of you are aware that we’re busy improving and developing the Pottermore experience, you might also be interested to know that we’re hard at work preparing the Pottermore Shop, too.

We know that a lot of people are excited about being able to buy the Harry Potter eBooks for the first time. If you’re a Harry Potter fan or reader who is interested in buying eBooks either for yourself or someone else, we’d really appreciate you taking part in our reading survey. You don’t have to be a Pottermore Beta user but if you’re interested in Harry Potter, reading or eBooks in general, we’d really like your feedback.

Pottermore is officially down for updates! Hopefully this means that they’ll at least open wizard dueling and if we’re lucky, the 2nd book!

Hey guys welcome to the Rowling Times, a blog for updates on J.K. Rowling. As you know shes started an online experience called “Pottermore” and there was a beta testers program for people who wanted to beta test it and I got in on Day 3 so I’m still waiting on my email 24/7. 

I want to tell you guys today about the Harry Potter Encyclopedia! Rowling started it back in 2008 and says its’s going to take at least 5 to 10 years to finish! 

“Yeah. Would it be okay if that’s ten years? I absolutely intend to do it, but I can’t pretend that I’m in a hurry right now. It’s gonna be a hell of a lot of work. But I have - I’ve kept everything and I know where things are and yeah, at some point I will get myself together and do it. ”  -Rowling said  in 2007

On September 4, 2009,  the Leaky Cauldron website reported that Rowling’s fellow author, as well as friend and neighbor, Ian Rankin, mentioned in a  interview that Rowling had been “making family trees of all her characters” for the encyclopedia.
